Bart Van den Bossche is Professor at the Faculty of Arts of the KULeuven. His main research topics include: literature and myth, literary realism in twentieth-century Italian fiction, orality and narrative, especially in recent Italian fiction, Italian literature in a European perspective, Petrarch and Petrarchism.
