Fernanda Gil Costa is Full Professor at the School of Arts and Humanities of the University of Lisbon. She received her PhD in German Literature from the University of Lisbon in 1987 and was made a full professor in 1999. Since then she has dedicated herself to Comparative Studies, Translation Studies and Literatures in Portuguese. Between 2012 and 2016, she was the head of the Department of Portuguese of the University of Macau.
She is a researcher at the Centre for Comparative Studies and currently coordinates of the research group MORPHE – Text and Memory.
